Victor Trent Cook, Rodrick Dixon,

everything in between, from Handel to Ellington and beyond. This trio of
talented, ultra-versatile singers, known as Cook, Dixon & Young, are
celebrating their new CD release, appropriately called
Volume One.
Recorded live in December 2004 at
New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, VOLUME
ONE is being released in conjunction with Cook, Dixon & Young's PBS
"Great Performances" special, titled "Cook, Dixon & Young in Concert." |

Follow the Star
Follow the Star contains 13 traditional songs of the
holiday season based on personal favorites of Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Alongside three tracks by Jakes -- "From Our House, to Your House,"
"Away in a Manger" (with Angie Winans), and "Follow the Star" (with
Dorinda Clark-Cole) -- are beautiful versions of "The First Noel" (Aaron
Neville) "Born in Bethlehem" (Blind Boys of Alabama and Mavis
Staples) and "3 Wise Men Medley" (Cook, Dixon and Young).
This is a recommended disc especially for those seeking
reflective moments during the busy holiday season. |
